Did you even ever visit the ESL website? Just look at their homepage it doesn't even list MKX and SFV in the front page. You have to literally click "..many more!" under ESL Play to even see MKX and SFV and other less competitive games. Furthermore, SFV and MKX are not even present in the ESL National Championship and ESL Intel Extreme Masters two of the most imporrtant competitive gaming tournament rivaling that of WCG. This only further proves that Fighting games don't have much potential to be highly competitive at all.

You are just beating the bush now.As I already told you countless times before Fighting games are competitive but they are just not as Highly competitive as other Games Present in WCG ,ESL National Championship and ESL Intel Extreme Masters.

Also, next time before you attack my original post emotionally and say something nonsense like this,

Quote:

Fighting games are arguably the most competitive than any game genre

Please back them up with facts and stats. It is clear from the above baseless statement that you are being biased towards fighting game. So, please come back when you have grown, matured and not have suck myopic view about competitive gaming.

Also, please don't reply as it is clear that you will never agree with my points. And I will stop replying as it is diverging from the main topic.

u've been rebutted in everything you said and again the only thing that your saying is that it wasn't in ESL when it is.

Also stop throwing insults just because someone doesn't agree with you, a Mod already told you to chill. I also actually have visited... and SFV is In the homepage along with the Pro League Section.

You got proven wrong about the Sponsorships, Skill, and pretty much everything you've said and the only thing that your saying is that Fighters aren't that competitive because not many entry's are in ESL (Originally you said Fighters weren't Competive at all but now that the majority of the things you've said have been debunked, Now your trying to say there BARLEY COMPETIVE because not many entrants are in ESL).

I also said Fighters were ARGUABLY the most competitive since there's multiple Majors and Multiple Sponsor ships (Things that you continue to ignore).

Yes ESL is bigger than the tourneys I've listed but it doesn't matter since those Majors host around thousands of entrants (Especially Evo, Capcom Cup,Tougeki and now the KI Cup). Not to mention Esports has been supporting the genre for a while now (The same company that owns ESL).

The whole purpose of this argument was you saying Fighters were not at all competitive and everything you said has been debunked.

Tbh if the screen reacts to you touching it you could simply look up something online on how to email pictures, click on dokkan, click on transfer data, take a screenshot, email it to your email so you can look at from an uncracked screen.

Soldiers! Don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you and enslave you; who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel! Who drill you, diet you, treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder!
Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men, machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have a love of humanity in your hearts! You don't hate!

Competitively? Don't make me laugh. DBZ games or fighting games in general are not competitive at all. There is a reason after all of why Fighting games are not present or even suggested in the WCG or ESL.
I think it would be best to first let Bask explain what he means by the word "competitive". Maybe there's just a misunderstanding. Surely, there are elements to competitive play that FPS's possess that are somewhat lacking in fighting games (and vice versa). From a fight-gamer's perspective, FPS's may be lacking in the competitive sense because they do not possess values of competition that are found/expected in fighting games. I think for this argument to hold any substance, I think it's important that we find a common ground of what is expected from the word "competitive". Bask, if you don't mind, please fill us in on exactly how you would define the term "competitive". I hope you write back soon, for I'd love to educate myself on your perspective of the matter.

As for the topic at hand... Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2.

A very good example of a game that is easy to learn, difficult to master.

My friends, brothers and cousins and I would all get together and have big friendly king of the hill tournaments in budokai 3 HD. Nothing other than that though.

Well do ya... punk?

Fighting games is my favorite genre of video games (Tekken being my favorite fighting game franchise) alongside platforms and action-adventure but I don't always have time for them. I always go to DBZ games for both my DBZ and fighting game fixes naturally being I'm a huge fan of both but the problem with those none of them are very good as fighting games with few exceptions (but even those aren't main event worthy)... though that's applicable to anime-based fighters in general.

I lost my competitive virginity to Budokai 3 and am now working on Infinite World. Wish I could play like these guys:
Currently, I play "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3" VERY competitively. I host several challenges with friends and those who prove themselves earn cash prizes. Check out my signature for all the details.

Also, if anyone else here is still actively and competitively playing any of the classic DBZ games, I'd love to know!
